Who we are
SafetyEvo provides lone worker safety software. For this website and for enquiries you send us, we are the data controller. You can contact us at hello@safetyevo.co.uk.
This website
This website does not use advertising or tracking cookies, and we do not run analytics that follow you between sites. Our servers keep short technical logs (such as IP address and time of request) to keep the service secure, and delete them routinely.
Enquiries and demo requests
When you fill in a form we receive your name, email, company, phone number if given, and your message. We use them only to reply to you and to arrange a demo.
- Lawful basis: our legitimate interest in answering your enquiry, or steps you ask us to take before a contract.
- We keep enquiries for up to 24 months, unless you become a customer.
- Our email provider (Brevo) delivers the messages for us, under a data processing agreement.
Data in the SafetyEvo service
When a company uses SafetyEvo for its staff, that company is the data controller for its staff data and we process it on its behalf, under a written agreement. Staff should read their employer's privacy information. In short:
- Location, battery and signal are collected only while a shift is open, and the app always shows when tracking is on.
- Location trails are deleted after the period the employer sets. Incident records may be kept longer for insurance and legal reasons.
- Data is stored on servers in the European Union (Germany).
- Every view of a location in the office console is recorded in an audit log.
Your rights
You can ask for a copy of your data, ask us to correct or delete it, object to how we use it, or ask us to restrict it. Email us and we will reply within one month. If you are unhappy, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.
Changes
We will update this notice when our practices change, and show the date at the top.
